Speed recognition not working

Hi All,

I have a 2 week old Techno Edition, which so far is really nice.
But, has anyone experienced the speed recognition and warning just stop working? Just has a circle and amber light next to it, nothing obscuring camera etc.
To be honest it's nice not to have to turn it off overtime you start car, but wonder if it is a fault?

It can be turned off in the menu. You also need to double tap the Perso button which turns off all the items you have ticked. You have to do this every time you start the car. You should consult the online manual or download the My Renault app. Good luck.

Thanks, I know you can turn it off in the menu and personal settings, but it's not coming on in the first place.

You should be able to turn it on in the settings otherwise a trip to the dealers is the best bet. Try the sales person who sold you the car. Some of them are quite knowledgeable. Mine is very helpful.

Mine went off 2 weeks after taking delivery
Back to the dealers en route started working
In addition car starts with speed sign..when working in KPH and fuel consumption at 6.8 mpg. ( as car is “ reporting” in l/100km
No fault found..according to dealer
Today it’s off again.
Earliest appointment is 22-05-25…That’s 3 months away!!?

Mine did exactly the same on Thursday and was back on Friday. I didn't do anything so give it a day or two.

Same issue here, the car is 2 weeks old. The journey started ok with the speed limit showing, I turned onto the next street and it went off and never came back on.


Update:

I managed to get the speed limit showing again by signing in as a "guest" profile, running the car with the speed limit showing & then signing back into my own user profile.

That is a strange solution. I'll remember it for the next time it happens.
