Hi,
My car has just started randomly and repeatedly dialling the E-call emergency line. In the space of a ten minute drive it can call up to Ten times. The indicator light is suggesting a fault, tried to book into a dealer for repair but having to wait several weeks for a free slot. Does anyone have any suggestions of a way i can reset the system or remove the dedicated battery in the short term?

Thanks, hopefully that’s the case but oddly the manual states that the battery will last 4 years and need replacing so it’s odd that this is happening on a car that’s only weeks old

UPDATE: so the issue didnt improve at all and in fact we had the police at our door several times because the car was even calling the emergency services when it was parked on the drive. We arranged a call back from a Renault technician that didnt happen (quality service there). and in the end called out the RAC who were able to get into the panel and disconnect the system. We'll see what Renault say when we do eventually get it to the garage but altogether a pretty poor experience for a brand new car.
Your experience and all the others reported on this forum suggest that Renault UK simply have no idea what is going on with the software of the car.

Perhaps our forum admin could send key issues at that level as a collective submission.
The car is great, aftersales etc is very poor or non existent if you are talking about the my Renault aop
