Hi Folks,

I know overly bright headlamps are a hot topic in the press at the moment but does anyone else seem to get flashed a lot by other motorists because they think your headlamps are on full beam ? It used to happen occasionally with my wifes previous Kuga (LED headlamps) but it happens a lot with the Symbioz...

When it's dark and no street lighting the main beam comes on automatically
When a vehicle is in front or coming towards you the headlights switch to dipped beam
In a built up area at night the headlights need to be switched manually. Might be best to have your dealer check the alignment.

I've had this happening almost on a daily basis with my previous Kadjar until I found that the switch next to the steering wheel can adjust them vertically. After setting them to 1 or 2 flashing from the drivers stopped. I've learned my lesson and I keep my Symbioz on 1 all the time - never ever had anyone flashing at me since I own the car. You can park somewhere facing a wall in a dark underground parking lot and adjust it. Austral owners have auto adjusting lights, but it's all manual for the Symbioz.
