Essentially, for example when you set the car to automatically lock when you drive off, or manually activate it, there is a physical lock button on the 10.4” main screen (bottom right) and it has a red LED when locked

When you lock the car when exiting (or sitting inside and using the cars remote lock button) then the same lock button turns red and under observation it remained on. It doesn’t appear to flash however.

Does it work? Damn right. Had to leave the dogs in boot (converted into comfy dog pen) for 2 minutes and it went off very loudly.

Bonus points, discovered there is an alarm manual that was left inside the glove box

The manual is in many languages and the English version is only three pages. I can scan them and send them to you if you wish.
