Hi All
I’m concerned that I am still not getting updates to my Symbioz, collected in November 2024.
I have all the data plans and 4 years extended warranty.
Here and other forums, I have read that people got updates in March and May/June 2025.
Looking to establish if I am alone in this (if so will escalate to the dealer and/or Renault directly).
Versions I see installed:
Profile > Security > Security update
“Your system is up to date, android 12, 1st November 2023”
Really?? 2023 seems too far back for last security update
Update & assistant > Vehicle update
> update history = 09 Nov 2024 (this is just before I collected)
> System information
= SW> 283C36560R_DOM.18.47.30.12S_prd.user
(Or which one denotes software installed?)
Check for update says ‘No updates available for your vehicle’
Google maps version 24.02.050000.E
I have even reset the profile to flush, but made no difference
Any guidance appreciated!
Software versions
Your dealer is the best bet. My Iconic, delivered end of September 2024, was software updated around 4 weeks ago. It should have fixed blind spot mirror issues plus road speed signs occasionally reading 80 mph. Other minor updates were also included. None of the issues were resolved. I asked the dealer technician if there was a change log for the updates. There wasn't and the only way to find out was to call Renault Technical in France. Renault Customer Services UK are looking into the software issues but it's a slow process. Nothing so far. Sometimes the My Renault app says there are updates which will be installed OTA. I've never noticed any difference and whether the update took place or not. If your car is working ok and you have no obvious software issues I would leave well alone. Sorry if this sounds so negative or downbeat but it is what it is.
