Hi. Owner of a Iconic, full hybrid Symbioz. When i picked it up from the dealership, on the 23rd of May, the salesman showed me how to store and recall the chair position. I remember he created a new profile and on switching between them the chair would move on it's own to the other setting. Only did one try, but it was enough for me. After i drove home i deleted all the profiles and reset the infotainment system so i get the pristine experience. Silly me! Now i can't get the feature to work anymore and i understand, from reading the forum, this is actually expected. Have any of you succeeded to save and recall your seating and side mirror positions?
Have already called the salesman and did a repeat over a whats app call, without success. I don't know if we are missing a step or if there has been an update...
Saving seat position and side mirror
I have the Iconic UK version and the salesman to me the seat settings are not saved. The exterior mirrors were not mentioned. I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to do this in the settings so I could give it a try.Shodoman wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 12:08 am Hi. Owner of a Iconic, full hybrid Symbioz. Symbioz Iconic Esprit Alpine
As far as i remember, chanching the Profile would adjust the seating. Swipe down from the top of the screen and look at the top left corner where the profile image circle is. You can create new profiles and switch between them.
Even the manual mentions Profiles storing such info in the User Settings section https://gb.e-guide.renault.com/eng/open ... Multimedia
This might be because the OpenR-link manual is the same for all Renault Cars, but still, i know what i experienced.
Iconic
I don't think this option is available in the UK. My dealer did not mention it and he's pretty good at such things. I seem to recall that, somewhere, someone made a comment that they were disappointed that they could not set the seats to change when different people drove it ie settings were not memorised. I see your profile says you live in Bucharest, so maybe the spec is different in your country.

Techno Esprit Alpine
Unlikely Renault would like to maintain different software versions for the same car, especially with their market segmentation (or rather fragmentation). On Austral or Rafale you have a dedicated menu for seating, in the Vehicle World, and a pop up shows up after you change it, to ask if you want to save it.theumpire wrote: ↑Wed Jun 04, 2025 2:59 pm I don't think this option is available in the UK. Funny enough someone posted a picture on the Symbioz facebook page, from Romania, with the Seats menu. He's claiming the icon disappears after 5 seconds.
