Coupled with non adjustable headlamps which are stuck on the lowest meaning at night in low beam I can see barely anything. It’s going to Renault for the third time in 3 weeks as they have no courtesy car until then, but tbh is dangerous to use at night currently

Getting pretty fed up with this car currently! Whilst there are good elements I’m as of today with no working google maps on the big screen-just stopped at lunchtime and not worked since! Can it be removed and re-installed? Not had time to take in the manual yet.

You should change it for a car that suits you.Sbrace06 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 8:16 pm Getting pretty fed up with this car currently! If anyone has any tips to restore google maps to the centre tablet it would be appreciated. I’m using it straight off the car not my phone, and as mentioned it works on the driver display just not the centre tablet which shows a black screen. I’ve gone through all menus but to no avail.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Have you downloaded the full owners manual. There may be some advice in the trouble shooting section.Sbrace06 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 8:40 am If anyone has any tips to restore google maps to the centre tablet it would be appreciated. Have you tried the usual trick of holding the power button down on the top of the screen for around 10 seconds. Let go of it when the screen and instrument panel reboot.
That procedure resets the entertainment system but doesn't cause any issues - we do it every few weeks.
Works a treat on our Megane EV and our new Facelift Captur Esprit Alpine.

I've had the same issue with Google maps on the test car I drove, but managed to fix it right away. Just go to the apps section, press and hold the google maps app and it will give you an option to force close it. Just do so and it'll be restored. Hopefully such kind of bugs will be fixed with an OTA.
