I always use comfort mode as this seems to be the general consensus.
I was surprised at the lack of a rev counter. You can buy a plug in one if needed. I found the answer to the high revs was to retrain your right foot. I seem to have mostly perfected this technique. Patience is required.

A lot of hybrids dont have a rev counter, because they also do the same thing. I guess owners would question why their car is idling at 3000rpm so often. Some do give you more control of the gear, but as far as I can tell there is no way to even know what gear your in on the Symbioz beyond the direction of travel.

You might be able to find out with an OBD app like Torque, I might give it a go.

hi all tyre ware original tread depth on prinacy 2 tyres is 6.2 mm not the 7 mm found on lot of tyres
health check at 1100 miles reported 40% tyre ware , down to 5 mm botom of tread, then take wear bar , usfull tread 3 mm left !!

if tyer wear is consitant expecetd life to replacement === 4000 miles i find that not acceptable
basis i got 35 000 mile on ix35 4 x 4 desiel 27000 prillie on x type jag

please guys check your tyre depth not just look at then as we do, please report any findings of significant wear
