Extended grip
I'm still waiting for my car to arrive, but I noticed that the test car I tried had the Extended grip option. As a current Kadjar owner I know that this can be enabled, as soon as you add the hardware button - I even have the button, but never had the time to install it as it requires a degree of disassembly or the central console, which I didn't want to do as the car was still under warranty. So now there's no dedicated button, it's controlled by the multi-sense button. Looks.like it's just a software gimmick, so I think it should be relatively easy to be enabled. I've read that extended grip is not supposed to work properly with 19" wheels, but I have a spare set of 17" wheels with winter tires on them from the Kadjar and I'm planning to use them during the winter. Sometimes there's a fair amount of snow here so enabling Extended grip and having snow and mountain options sounds good. Any thoughts?
Check to make sure the brake calipers do not foul the 17" rims. Maybe the Kadjar discs are smaller.Davebg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 10:13 am I'm still waiting for my car to arrive, but I noticed that the test car I tried had the Extended grip option.
